Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) is the entrance examination organized by Govt. of Assam for admission into various B.Tech. programme in the engineering colleges of Assam. The Combined Entrance Examination (CEE), 2025 will be conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU).
Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has released the official notification of Combined Entrance Examination (CEE 2025) for Admission into B.Tech. programme For the Academic Session 2025 - 2026 in the Engineering Colleges of Assam. Interested and eligible candidates who have passed or appearing in 10+2 exam may apply online.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission to any of the colleges a candidate must fulfill the following criteria :
Resident-ship: The Candidate must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent resident of Assam [with a valid PRC of Assam issued by the competent authority].
Central Govt. Employee Quota: Applicants who wish to be considered for the Central Government Employee Quota must submit proof of their permanent residency from the concerned state authorities outside of Assam.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must pass the Qualifying Examination (10+2 standard) in single sitting, without any grace marks in the Mandatory of the relevant subjects/ courses at 10+2 level and also must be passed individually both in Theory & Practical as mentioned below.

Qualifying Marks: Candidate must secure a minimum of 45 % (40 % in case of candidates belonging to reserved category in the subjects taken together) in the Qualifying Examination (10+2 standards) as per AICTE Approval Process Handbook-2024-2027.
OR
Candidates who have passed 3-years Diploma in Engineering & Technology under State Council for Technical Education, Assam, with 45% (40% for reserved category) marks in the Final Diploma Examination .
Age Limit: The candidate must not be below 17 years on the date of registration to appear CEE. There is no maximum age limit.
Character: The Candidate must possess a good moral character. (Certificate from the head of Institute last attended to be submitted).
Fitness: The Candidate must be physically and mentally fit. (Medical Certificate from the Medical Officer / Medical Practitioner to be submitted.)
Application Fee of Assam CEE
Candidates need to pay an Application Fee of Rs 1350/- (Rupees One thousand three hundred and fifty) for CEE 2025.
Payment Mode: This application fee can be made through online mode by using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking.
Assam CEE 2025 Admit Card
he ASTU authority will release the Assam CEE Admit Card 2025 on the official website.
The Candidate will be able to download his/her admit card from the University website www.astu.ac.in from 12th April, 2025 to 23rd April, 2025 by entering his/her application form number/User name and Password generated during submission of online application.

Syllabus
The CEE-2025 will be conducted as per the syllabus of Assam State School Education Board, Division – II (Higher Secondary Division).
The examination will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) Type and comprise of a Single Paper of 3 (three) hours duration with following distribution:
